2019 VW T6 ABT Release Date, Price, Spy Shots, & Redesign – ABT Sportsline considers that even vans are worthy of some sore caring proper care from time to time, which is why they have got rolled out a handful of aesthetic and performance updates for the Volkswagen T6.
Starting from the exterior, the German van has a lot more dynamic look, outlined by the specific grille, front and rear skirt accessories, and rear wing. These are complemented by the four-pipe exhaust system and 20-inch alloy wheels from the tuner’s GR series. The black Volkswagen Transporter pictured beneath is requested by two remain-up paddlers. Hence, it provides a couple of nearly 3-gauge (10 ft) long SUP boards that show up from the tailgate, two head-high paddles, two outdoor patio chairs and a crate of chill-out drinks, which arrive in helpful after a tough day’s work.
Other work carried out by ABT is identified under the sheet metal and contains some suspension springs or, for a more special posture, an elevation-adjustable suspension kit. With these, the “vehicle can surf any power influx with ease”, states the tuner.
But the work wouldn’t have been completed without a power boost. So, ABT has addressed the contact by giving an added 31 PS (31 hp / 23 kW) to the 204 PS (201 hp / 150 kW) 2.0-liter BiTDI diesel engine, which is now great for 235 PS (232 hp / 173 kW) and 490 Nm (361 lb-ft) of torque. The tuner’s ECU mod is also available as a possibility for the 2.0-liter TDI and 2.0-liter TSI diesel and petrol models, respectively.
