2022 Ford Bronco Everglades Redesign
Bronco Everglades, a Bronco package, is an add-on to the Sasquatch Package. This package improves off-road performance as well as hardcore off-road style. This package also includes an upgraded bumper and snorkel intake. It also features a unique quarter panel design. The 2022 Bronco Bronco Everglades interior will be identical to other Bronco trims. Rubberized flooring and marine-grade vinyl seats are standard features. This makes it easier for the SUV to be cleaned after off-roading. Ford claims that the Everglades comes standard with the Mid package. Ambient footwell lighting is included, as well as dual-zone automatic climate controls. Heated front seats Remote engine start.
The Bronco Everglades is equipped with a turbocharged, 4-cylinder turbocharged engine. It is smaller and weaker than the other engines Ford offers for Bronco. However, it still produces 300 horsepower & 325 pound-feet of torque. The engine can be paired with a 10-speed manual transmission or 4-wheel drive with a crawl ratio of 67.8-1. Standard equipment includes the Bronco’s G.O.A.T. The snorkel intake, along with the upgrades to the axles/transfer case, improves the Bronco’s water-fording capabilities from 33.5 inches in a regular Sasquatch-equipped Bronco to 36.4 inches in the Everglades. Swappable plates allow you to change the direction of the air intake depending on current conditions.
The safety features of the Bronco Everglades Bronco will be the same as the 2022 Bronco. The Mid package includes safety features such as reverse sensing and Ford Co-Pilot360–an automaker’s extensive collection of advanced driving aid systems (ADAS). The Insurance Institute for Highways, (IIHS), has yet to release crash-test results for the 2022 Bronco. Although the 2021 Bronco was structurally identical, it failed to pass the Institute’s crash tests and did not receive the Top Safety Pick award. When deciding on the SUV’s safety rating, the safety rating agency looked at its headlights and head restraints. The lights were given a Marginal score, and the head restraints received an acceptable rating. While neither score indicated that the Bronco’s safety was compromised, the IIHS noted that the headlights provided fair visibility on straightaways while allowing for poor visibility in curves. These limitations are compensated for by automatic high beam headlights, according to the IIHS. The Bronco’s headrests weren’t strong enough to support the necks of crash test dummies during a rear-impact collision.
The new Bronco Everglades has a 12-inch touchscreen and Ford’s Sync 4 infotainment system. This software includes Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as updates over-the-air to improve functionality and add additional features. The Everglades Mid package comes with navigation, remote start, and a 110-volt AC power supply.
