2023 BMW 7 Series – We are close to the completion of the next-generation BMW 7 Series and expect to see it sometime in the second half. The teaser images and spy photos have suggested a radical new front design language. There are also some impressive tech innovations. A new flagship plug-in hybrid model could also be in the works.
BMW Blog reports that the G70 family will feature an M750ex Drive version. This will have a stronger PHEV powertrain than the 745exDrive. This system will use a 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six engine and an electric motor to produce a maximum output of 560 horsepower (412 megawatts).
2023 BMW 7 Serie Redesign
Although there is no official confirmation from the Bavarian manufacturer, the online publication claims that the new electrified 7er will be equipped with upgrades from BMW’s M division. The range will include suspension adjustments and larger brakes. In addition, air suspension will be standard. Depending on where you are, the 7 Series will include soft-closing doors as well as Level 3 self-driving features.
BMW unveiled a super-powerful plug-in hybrid system as part of the XM concept. The prototype was powered by a V8 engine and an electric motor, producing 750 horsepower (551 kW) at its peak. It also produced 737 lbft (1, 000 Nm) of torque. However, it is unlikely that the hybridized V8 will be found under the hood of the next-generation 7 Series.
2023 BMW 7 Serie Released
BMW is currently developing an all-electric version of its flagship sedan. The i7 will be launched alongside the 7 Series, sharing the fifth-generation eDrive technology of BMW. Expect a dual-motor setup with 600 horsepower (447 kW) to be delivered to all four wheels.
