2023 BMW Alpina XB7 – Alpina is BMW’s luxury tuning wing. This facelifted SUV has a new front fascia and some new tech inside. It will be a huge hit wherever it goes.
2023 BMW Alpina XB7 Review
The most notable changes have been made to the SUV’s front. The lighting design of the front has been updated for 2023. It is identical to the rest. The slimmer headlights have been complemented by the second row of darkened lighting elements that surround BMW’s “Iconic Glow” kidney grille. Alpina also updated the rear and front apron to reflect its new design vocabulary. The chrome mustache on the current model is gone.
Upgraded to the most recent generation of the 2023 XB7’s 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 BMW BMW engine, The engine features mild-hybrid assistance and a cross-bank exhaust manifold, which provide a better soundtrack and faster response from the turbos. The power output is unchanged at 612 HP (621 PS/ 457kW), and 590lbft (890Nm) respectively. The SUV can reach speeds of 180 mph (229 km/h) and 62mph (101/h), respectively, in just 4.2 seconds.
Standard equipment includes an Alpina-specific damper, air suspension on both axles, and kinematic sets. For better aerodynamics, the suspension automatically lifts below 30 km/h (19mph). It is mounted on specially-designed wheels and tires, including 21-inch “Alpina Dynamic”, which are wrapped in high-performance rubber runflats. The 23-inch forged alloy “Alpina Classic” 20-spoke wheels are available with Pirelli rubber for those who desire a more striking visual impact. Alpina’s renowned range of bespoke leather upholstery can be found inside. BMW Operating System 8 is used to run the XB7.
