2023 Cadillac Celestiq – Cadillac has used a dual-pronged strategy in the last 20 years. It’s tried to bring sportiness to its products and respond to the shift to SUVs. Despite all of its efforts, GM’s luxury marque is still struggling to regain its legacy as the “Standard of the World”. The flagship Celestiq is the latest attempt to win the crown.

Massive executive sedans-cum-limousines may not enjoy the market share they used to, but they’re still considered the peak of automotive luxury and prestige. Cadillac will again make a luxurious sedan, with the new Escalade 2021 continuing to be a luxury SUV. It is called Celestiq and has been presented to media, including us, in concept form.

The Celestiq was previewed in a smaller version, the Escala. It will be a long four-door sedan with a hatchback similar to an Audi A7 and a trunk similar to a Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class. The fully electric sedan, which will be built on GM’s BEV3 electric vehicle architecture could have as many as three motors. We expect it to be equipped with the most powerful and efficient motors and battery packs in GM’s toolkit for the best performance and range, given its price and class. It will be fast-charged at 800 volts, which will enable it to be quickly topped up at public stations.
2023 Cadillac Celestiq Interior
Each Celestiq is hand-built with extra care for the interior. The car’s dimensions will allow for ample space in the rear seat to accommodate the captain of industry. An all-glass roof will run from the windshield to the hatchback. This will allow for minimal obstruction of views from the hood to the top to the taillights. The dashboard will have flower petals floating in acrylic, similar to the Rolls-Royce Phantom display case. Super Cruise, the highway-capable, hands-off cruise control system, will be standard banner technology.
