2023 Ford Everest Raptor Review
Justin Capicchiano was the Ford Performance Program Lead. He has previously worked on the Ranger Raptor and FG X Falcon Sprint models. He made it clear that Ford Performance would be thrilled if there were the business case for extreme Everest. Everest is an incredible product. Everybody would love to have a product like that [Everest Raptor], but it must make sense. Capicchiano stated it must be relevant in all markets.
The Raptor name was first used in 2008 before the F-150 was introduced in 2010. The global debut of the Ranger Raptor was made in 2018. Given that the Everest Raptor is used only on pick-ups, it seemed unlikely. The North American announcement of the Bronco Raptor in January 2022 saw the nomenclature used for the first time in an SUV, making the Everest Raptor more unusual. It’s also no secret that Bronco and Everest share many components. These components include select engines, transmissions, and electronic architecture. The Everest Raptor is theoretically the same as Ranger, despite having different suspension configurations and four-wheel drives. The platform costs increased further with the launch of the Ford Bronco in North America, much to the dismay and disappointment of Australian fans.
The case for Raptor Everest is strengthened by Toyota’s push on its Gazoo Racing range, which also includes the LandCruiser SUV. The Landcruiser is not treated with the same aggression as Ranger Raptor but the expansion of Gazoo racing is a sign that Ford Performance has a new rival on the off-road scene.
2023 Ford Everest Raptor Rumors
Ford has not yet made any commitments regarding the Raptor family’s growth. “Right now, we don’t know what plans are,” Capicchiano said that we have not looked into it. “The future is a fascinating state. Although we don’t talk often about our long-term plans, Everest is a product we would love to see develop.
