2023 GMC Acadia – GMC’s current GMC Acadia can trace its roots back to 2017 when the second generation of GMC Acadia was released. Acadia will be entering its seventh model year under the same model. The 2023 GMC Acadia is likely to arrive as a carryover. In 2024, a complete redesign is planned.
2023 GMC Acadia Review
Acadia 2023 is a carryover model that will have the same design and features as the SUV currently in production. Acadia blends luxury with ruggedness in an elegant design. The front is chunky and features a squared-off grille and rectangular headlights. The fascia also features prominent body cladding. Rear of Acadia is more sophisticated with simple lines and round taillights.
The interior design of the Acadia is straightforward and simple, drawing inspiration from GMC trucks. The interior is intuitively designed and easy to use, with many controls located in the middle console. The third row of the SUV is smaller than the mid-size model because it is small and boxy. The cabin is made up of a mix of cheap plastics and more expensive materials, particularly if you select a higher trim. The interior design of the 2023 GMC Acadia is the same as the SUV. Acadia’s tech features for 2023 are not expected to change. Standard eight-inch touchscreens should be available. It will be compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, six speakers, and satellite radio. Standard features include navigation, a wireless charging pad, rear-seat entertainment, and a Bose eight-speaker audio system.
GMC Acadia is offered with two engines. We don’t expect any major engine changes in 2023. The standard engine is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 230 horsepower and 258 lbft of torque. You can also choose a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 310 horsepower and 271 pounds-feet of torque. The engines can be combined with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Both engines are available with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive.
Acadia’s current model includes pedestrian detection, automatic brake, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency brake. Safety features include adaptive cruise control, a head-up display, and a rear cross-traffic alert. These safety features will be in place until 2023.
