2023 Honda Odyssey – Honda Odyssey could be redesigned in 2023. Honda hasn’t yet officially revealed the next-gen Odyssey, and early reports are largely speculation. According to Automotive News, the Honda Odyssey redesign could be on the horizon as a 2023 model or 2024 model.
2023 Honda Odyssey Review
The 2018 Honda Odyssey model was first introduced. Since then, the Odyssey has only seen minor updates. Although we believe the 2023 Odyssey redesign is based on the assumption that the next generation of Odysseys will be five years old, this could still make the model more appealing to buyers in a minivan market where there are fewer options.
Toyota recently made it’s Sienna family-hauler a hybrid-only model. The Chrysler Pacifica offers buyers the option of a gasoline engine or a plug-in hybrid minivan (PHEV) which is a first in the industry. The newer Kia Carnival is an alternative that offers a more luxurious vehicle with the most recent technology. The next-gen Odyssey will offer a hybrid option or a plug-in option. It remains to be seen. The Insight, Accord, and CR-V Hybrid are the only Honda hybrids available at the moment. The current Odyssey minivan’s EPA fuel economy rating is 22 mpg, compared with 36 mpg for Toyota Sienna.
The Odyssey is missing an all-wheel-drive option for harsher environments. This could be a problem. The Sienna, on the other hand, continues to offer both FWD and AWD options. We don’t know yet if the next Odyssey will be built on the same platform as the 2023 Honda Pilot redesign, which is expected to happen this year.
2023 Honda Odyssey Released

We don’t know yet if there will be a global shortage of chips that could delay or affect the launch. Keep checking back for more updates as they become available.
