2023 Jeep Meridian – Jeep used to be a leader in three-row SUV manufacturing, but that is no longer the case. In 2018, the Grand Commander was introduced in China. The Grand Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer, and Grand Cherokee L will be launched in China in 2021. The seven-seat Commander was launched last year in Latin America to replace the three-row Compass.
Fast forward to 2022, and Jeep teases the Meridian. It’s basically the Indian Commander. Compass bones have a longer rear overhang, and a wider wheelbase. The longer distance between axles allows for easier access to the rearmost seats. This is achieved by having a wider greenhouse and wider rear doors.
2023 Jeep Meridian Seven-Seat SUV Redesign
Although the new Jeep Meridian is fully camouflaged, we have the impression it won’t look any different to its Brazilian counterpart. The LED daytime running lamps have been integrated into the main cluster of the Jeep Meridian, instead of being a separate light bar in the bumper. This makes the headlights appear different.
The body panels appear to have the same shape as their taillights at high ends. The body panels and side mirror caps can also be discussed. It’s unclear at the moment how Jeep will locate the Meridian for the nation with the second most populous population in the world. However, we will have more information over the next months.
