2023 Kia Seltos Crossover Redesign

The Kia Seltos’ exterior is stylish and reminiscent of some of the most fashionable vehicles in the subcompact crossover segment. It looks hotter than it is. The exterior features include deep creases and a floating roof with fake dual exhausts. The majority of Seltos models have a large touchscreen infotainment screen and a modern, elegant dash. Higher-end models come with Bose premium sound systems that include sound-connected mood lighting and voice-command navigation.

Engine

The Seltos range offers two powerplants, but neither one is particularly powerful. The 2.0-liter engine is naturally aspirated in lower-end models, while the Nightfall Edition or SX Turbo gets a turbocharged four-cylinder of 1.6-liter. Seltos can be purchased with an all-wheel-drive as an option on many trims. This makes it a very attractive proposition considering its price.

Safety

Seltos comes standard with many safety features, including an automatic emergency brake, lane-keep aid, automatic high beams, and driver attention monitor. The top trim also has adaptive cruise control and highway driving assist. Only the SX model has been awarded the Top Safety Pick award by the IIHS for its headlights. The NHTSA has unfortunately only given four stars in crash testing.
