2023 Maserati Grecale – Maserati’s Grecale crossover is a key component in the expansion of its EV range. All Maserati electric cars are called Folgore. Maserati has revealed the 2024 Grecale Folgore, which is an Italian word that means “lightning”, alongside the standard model. In the summer, the gas-powered model’s Modena GT and Grecale GT are available. Folgore won’t be available until the fall of 2023.

2023 Maserati Grecale Review
Maserati shared information about the EV while we wait. The battery pack of the EV’s battery is 105.0-kWh lithium-ion. 590 pound-feet of torque will be produced by the EV’s two electric motors. It is likely that there will be only two. Maserati hasn’t confirmed whether the battery information refers to either net capacity or usable. The Grecale Folgore pack looks to be the best in its category. The 77.0-kWh battery in the Audi Q4 etron provides usable energy. This torque figure is comparable to the Grecale Trofeo’s twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 that produces 457-pounds of torque.

Models
The Folgore looks identical from a visual standpoint to the gas-powered model. However, it does have a few minor differences. Folgore badges and wheels are used on the fenders. Platforms
Stellantis’ electric platforms are not suitable for the Grecale Folgore. Instead, it uses a Giorgio-modified platform. This platform is compatible with both the standard Grecale as well as other gas models, such the Alfa Romeo Stelvio. Maserati confirmed that Folgore will be equipped with an all-wheel drive. However, we don’t know what this means for electric motors or the battery pack.
2023 Maserati Grecale Pricing
The Folgore will likely be priced higher by Maserati than the standard Grecale at $64,995. It could cost $75,000. It is not surprising, we think. It should retail at $75,000. Based on what we know so far.
