2023 Mercedes EQE Spotted – Although the Mercedes EQE made its global debut at the Munich Auto Show in September, we don’t anticipate the all-electric sedan reaching the US shores any time soon. We are now staring at the development vehicle as it cruises along a California highway. The YouTube channel KindelAuto uploaded the video embedded above to our tip line.
2023 Mercedes EQE Spotted Review
The prototype we spotted here has Michigan manufacturer plates. This is consistent with all Mercedes-Development cars in the US. Despite this, Mercedes could be preparing for the EQE’s arrival in America.
Interior
The Mercedes EQE didn’t wear concealment as expected. It’s not surprising, considering it’s already been announced globally. Plus, the EQE’s styling doesn’t differ from its larger EQS sibling. It also comes with decals that say “The EQE” as well as “This is for every sense.” This EQE 350 was not wearing the sportier-looking AMG Line clothes. Due to the relationship between internal combustion engines-equipped Mercedes E-Class, and S-Class models, the Mercedes EQE is a little shorter than the EQS in both overall length and wheelbase.
Engine
The EQE 350 is powered by a 90.6-kilowatt-hour battery pack and a 215.0-kilowatt electric engine mounted on the rear axle. This setup generates 288 horsepower (215 Kilowatts) as well as 391 pound-feet (351 newton-meters). The German marque claims a range of 410 miles (660 km) on a single charge, based on the European WLTTP cycle.
2023 Mercedes EQE Spotted Launched
The US-spec EQE will produce the same power output, but the range figures will be lower. Initial plans for the Mercedes EQE to arrive in US showrooms in 2022 were announced. However, this prototype has already been seen so a change of schedule is not impossible.
