2023 Polestar 3 : Here’s How It Could Look

2023 Polestar 3 –  Although images of prototype vehicles in camouflage wraps are often very good, they can sometimes lack clarity and detail. Polestar published an official high-resolution photo of a Polestar 3 prototype in a camouflage body cover. We knew that it would be perfect for creating a rendering to show the final product.

2023 Polestar 3 Review

Our exclusive rendering of 2023 Polestar 3 is therefore not official. It is based on the official Polestar image. The camouflage wrap has been digitally removed so there is a lot to see. The front clip shows some interesting symmetry, and the intake on the lower fascia is almost identical in size and shape to the grille. The corner vents are also similar to the housings and headlights higher up. Overall, the effect is pleasing, if a little dull.

New Design

Looking back further, we see something hidden beneath the camouflage at the base of the doors. It is above the lower rocker. This could be a thin strip of cladding that is possibly the same as the rocker, to give the Polestar 3 an almost rugged look. This is definitely a trend with SUVs these days that tend closer to crossovers, and it doesn’t look out of place on the Polestar3. The floating roof is another trend, but we’re not just making one for fun. Official photo shows visible body lines under the camo wrap in this area. We’ve decided to make it black rather than making it chrome. We have all exterior trim removed from our rendering to keep it black as this is a popular trend among automakers. This could be appropriate for Polestar 3, as Polestar CEO Thomas Ingenlath describes it as “a premium electric performance SUV which will redefine the look of SUVs within the electric age.”

What sort of performance does he mean? It’s not clear what kind of performance it will offer, but we do know that it will be available with single- and dual-motor options. It will likely be a two-row SUV because of its narrow roofline that doesn’t allow for any third person. It will be made at Volvo’s South Carolina factory and share space with XC90. This means that it may also share some components. Polestar has promised that its first SUV would be a stand-alone vehicle.
