2023 Ram Revolution Electronic Pickup – Since last week, Ram has been confirming that the Revolution name was trademarked by the company. This name was thought to be used for its electric pickup truck. Now, the manufacturer has provided some teaser photos that hint at the model’s upcoming design and confirmed its name, Ram Revolution.
2023 Ram Revolution Electronic Pickup Rumors
Stellantis, Ram’s parent company, didn’t share any details about the Revolution. However, we believe it will be a battery-powered version of the Ram 1500. It is expected to be refreshed in 2023. The Revolution pickup version is also expected to debut at that time, though nothing has been confirmed.
The teaser doesn’t really give much information. It only provides some details about the pickup’s front fascia and its overall design. The teaser shows that the vehicle will not have a full-width lighting bar, which would have been an important design feature. Ram chose to attach strips of LEDs to the sides of the vehicle but not the strip at the center of the grille. Ram’s first teaser of the pickup featured a slightly different design. It is possible that it has evolved over time.
It is expected to have battery packs with capacities of 159 kWh to 200kWh. This will give it up to 500 miles range and can charge at 20 miles per hour. Ram wants the truck to be able to pull and perform well. However, to be one of the most powerful EV pickups available, it must have more than 1,000 horsepower.
2023 Ram Revolution Electronic Pickup New Design
It has been suggested that the Revolution might ride on a Stellantis-designed body-on-frame platform called STLA Frame. This, along with three other dedicated EV platforms, will underpin all the group’s battery-powered offerings. STLA Frame is the only configuration that can be used as a body-on-frame. It will also likely be used in other offroad-oriented electric offerings.
