2023 Toyota bZ4X – Toyota announced Thursday that the first commercially-available electric vehicle, bZ4X will be available for free for one year at any EVgo public fast-charging locations. EV goes claims that it is the only charging system that uses 100% renewable power. There are 800 DC fast-charging stations and Level 2 charging stations. Toyota claims that the agreement is solely focused on fast charging.

Toyota’s vision of the bZ4X is reflected in the decision to use EVgo as its service provider. Although you cannot travel across the country using an EVgo network service, it offers greater DC fast-charging options for major metropolitan areas. EVgo claims that more than 130 million Americans reside within a 10-mile radius from an EVgo fast-charging station.
EVgo understands that every customer is different. Many commuters work long hours, and they want to improve their mileage. EVgo has a reservation program to accommodate commuters. You can reserve a time and date at a $3.00 fee. Businesses that have charging stations could benefit from this system.
The Toyota 2022 Toyota Z4X is expected to be available by mid-2022. The single-motor, the front-wheel-drive version will be able to travel 250 miles. The all-wheel-drive model will have a lower range rating. Toyota claims that the battery capacity of the bZ4X will be retained at 90% after 10 years. This is a bold claim. It’s encouraging to see Toyota use fast charging.

EVgo and General Motors have partnered to increase the size of its charging network by three times by 2025. In 52 major metropolitan areas, there are plans to add 3,250 charging stalls. There are hundreds of Tesla connectors available at stations in major cities. EVgo has expanded to new areas, even though it is currently limited to metros. In partnership with EVgo Meijer supercenters will offer more locations from 100-kW up to 300-kw in various locations across the Great Lakes region.
