2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV – General Motors and Chevrolet have had a busy day since the 2024 Silverado EV unveil and the preview of the 2024 Equinox EV, a third electric vehicle is being revealed. Mary Barra, the GM CEO, announced the Blazer EV’s launch during a press conference at CES 2022 in Las Vegas.
2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV Rumors
We have all the details on the Silverado EV as well as information about the Equinox EV. However, we are still unsure of the Blazer EV’s fate. The Blazer SUV will be available in 2023, according to GM’s head honcho. It is priced right and offers a high level of refinement and options. Given its position in the range of gasoline-powered models, it is safe to assume that it will be larger than the all-electric Equinox.
The Equinox EV will cost more than $30,000 GM expects, and it will likely be more expensive than the $33,400 Blazer with a combustion engine. Mary Barra’s “high level” statement suggests that customers may be able to choose from a variety of trim levels and battery packs. They might also have the option to select between one or two electric motors for all-or two-wheel drive.
Engine & Specs
The battery was mentioned so the Blazer EV might have a bit more range than the Equinox, but this is not an official statement. There are unlikely to be any significant differences between them in terms of range. Expect approximately 300 miles, or at least a higher rate than the Bolt EV’s 247-mile range. It is not yet clear if it will also ride on the Ultium platform, as the Equinox EV and Silverado EVs, the GMC Hummer EV pickup trucks/SUVs, and the Cadillac Lyriq.
2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV Released
Although GM doesn’t want to announce these new electric crossovers too soon, they do not plan on going on sale until 2023.
