2024 SEAT Cupra Tavascan Electric Sports Crossover – SEAT announced that its Cupra Tavascan sports crossover, the Cupra Tavascan, was in jeopardy around the middle of 2020. Although Cupra needed to create its own models to differentiate itself from SEAT, the decision to put it into production was not yet made. However, it is now officially confirmed to be launched in 2024.
We are happy to announce that the project has been approved. It will be interesting to see how much of this concept’s original design will be kept for production. The model’s bold and futuristic design was what attracted us the most. Its underpinnings will also be shared with the majority of its electric VW group friends.
2024 SEAT Cupra Tavascan Electric Sports Review
The Tarascan will ride on VW’s MEB platform and draw power from a 77 kWh lithium-ion battery. It should be able to travel approximately 450 km (280 mi) on one charge. We expect the Tavascan to receive the twin-motor powertrain, which will be able to power the most powerful MEB-underpinned models. It should reach speeds of around 6.5 seconds and have a combined power output of 306 PS (302 horses).

SEAT will be interpreting the Volkswagen ID.5 formula with this model. The ID.5 coupe-like model of the more practical ID. Skoda is another big VW brand in Europe.
It chose to have its first MEB electric cross-over to be less dramatic. They opted to keep it simple and rely on its superior practicality to win. Skoda could launch a coupe-like model at some point (it has already shown a prototype), but we will have to wait to see if SEAT makes an ID.4 version.
