2025 Renault 4 Van Review

The Renault 4 Van will follow the steps of its distant relative, the Renault 3 Van. Because it is limited in urban use, the Renault 4 Van will have a limited range. An unusual rear hatch called “giraffe” was an original feature of the 4 Fourgonette. It featured a rear hatch that opened in the side, with a smaller opening at the top. These features are very useful and look great with unpainted bumpers on commercial vehicles.

Laurence van den Acker, the Renault Group’s design director, is Laurence van den, Acker. He acknowledged that both the R5 and the R4 in Van and SUV forms will “tell stories from the past” and would inherit a unique design language. This design language is very similar to Ford’s Mustang or Bronco nameplates. Renault has confirmed that the underpinnings for the panel van will be built according to the CMF-BEV architectural system. The flat floors of the electric platform make it easy to plan interior layouts.

Exterior

The underfloor batteries pack will be made from nickel, manganese, and cobalt (NMW), bringing the EV’s cost closer to ICE-powered models. Front-mounted electric motors are expected to be similar to the ones found on the Renault 5 prototype.

2025 Renault 4 Van Debuts

Rumors claim that the R4-named van and its SUV sibling will make their debut in 2025. Renault will then offer 10 new electric models to its range with the goal of reaching a 90% electric mix in Europe by 2030.
