2025 Volkswagen e-Up – Volkswagen will include a sub-ID.3-model to its electric vehicle lineup in 2025. It will likely be called the ID.1, but it will be preceded in 2023 by a concept. This concept may use the name ‘EZzity’. According to the source, the vehicle will come in several variations, including an ID.1 Crozz model and an e–Roomzz van-like version.

2025 Volkswagen e-Up Review
Car Magazine continues to state that the ID.1 will look similar to its bigger brother, the ID.3, and will be built on the same MEB platform. Although the expected battery pack sizes will not be particularly large, they will have a capacity of 24 kWh and 36 respectively. The former should allow for a maximum range of 300 km (185 mi) on one charge.

2025 Volkswagen e-Up Pricing
ID.1 could represent the sub-EUR20,000 electric vehicle that VW officials have previously mentioned. To further reduce costs, they will shrink the MEB platform and offer it with less content. The car could also be made in a country that has lower labor rates.

According to the source report, this ID.1 will not be VW’s answer for the Peugeot e-208 or Renault Zoe. Instead, the German giant will launch a slightly larger ID.2 model in order to compete with these French rivals.
